Rachel Abbott
Rachel Abbott is a third-year student at the University of Wollongong undertaking a double degree in Creative Arts and Media & Communications. With majors in Graphic Design and Journalism & Professional Writing Rachel has discovered her passion for storytelling via visual and written communications. Having completed internships within creative industries, she has gained significant skills in social marketing, photography, and writing. Rachel’s experience at Noel & Gladys has significantly shaped her career from running the Common People blog, assisting the art direction of their first editorial shoot and her current role as their in-house graphic designer. The curation and establishment of Argonaut Watch Company has further refined Rachel’s skillset, as well as experience in social media management through an internship at LUXE Communications. She has exhibited a mixed-media artwork at the Wollongong Art Gallery (2018) and enjoys taking on freelance design work to expand her skills. Rachel is passionate about working with clients to create brands from the ground up and is excited about her future in the creative industry.
